Even in modern society, this festival holds the same significance as it did centuries ago. Today, Ravana is not just a mythological character, but stands among us in the forms of corruption, pollution, greed, violence, and inequality. Eliminating these Ravanas is the true Dussehra of today.

दशहरा का आध्यात्मिक और सांस्कृतिक महत्व
दशहरा हमें यह याद दिलाता है कि चाहे अन्याय कितना भी प्रबल क्यों न हो, अंततः सत्य और अच्छाई की ही विजय होती है। रामायण के प्रसंगों से लेकर माता दुर्गा द्वारा महिषासुर का वध करने तक—हर कथा यही सिखाती है कि धैर्य, संयम और साहस से जीवन के हर अंधकार को मिटाया जा सकता है।
आज के समय में दशहरा
आधुनिक समाज में भी इस पर्व का महत्व उतना ही है जितना सदियों पहले था। आज रावण केवल एक पौराणिक पात्र नहीं, बल्कि भ्रष्टाचार, प्रदूषण, लोभ, हिंसा और असमानता जैसे रूपों में हमारे बीच खड़ा है। इन रावणों को समाप्त करना ही आज का वास्तविक दशहरा है।
सृष्टि मित्रा की दृष्टि से विजयादशमी
सृष्टि मित्रा का उद्देश्य भी इसी भावना को आगे बढ़ाना है— प्रकृति, पशु-पक्षियों और पर्यावरण को बचाना, समाज में करुणा और सहयोग की भावना जगाना और हर व्यक्ति को जीवन में मानवता का पथ दिखाना।
जिस प्रकार श्रीराम ने पूरी वानरसेना और मित्रों के सहयोग से विजय पाई, उसी तरह टीमवर्क और सामूहिक प्रयास से ही हम पृथ्वी को प्रदूषण, प्लास्टिक और अन्य बुराइयों से मुक्त कर सकते हैं।
