Shristi Mitraa is a registered Trust-NGO working across environment, animal & bird welfare, education support and community awareness. Our efforts focus on practical compassion — creating real change through responsibility, action and collaboration.
सृष्टि मित्रा एक पंजीकृत ट्रस्ट-एनजीओ है जो पर्यावरण, पशु-पक्षी कल्याण, शिक्षा सहयोग और जन-जागरूकता के क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत है। हमारा उद्देश्य “व्यवहारिक करुणा” के माध्यम से जिम्मेदारी, कार्य और सहयोग से वास्तविक परिवर्तन लाना है।

"मानवता अपनाइए – ब्रह्मांड को बचाइए"
We chose voluntary retirement (VRS), nearly seven years before the normal age of retirement, so that we could dedicate more of our lives to society and the environment. Having served as a Senior Veterinary Officer and a District Education Officer, we felt that our second innings should be fully devoted to meaningful service.
With deep love for nature and a desire for purposeful journeys, we founded Shristi Mitraa as co-trustees — she as the President, and I as the Secretary. From the beginning, my focus has been on free treatment for livestock keepers and care for animals and birds, while her commitment flows into supporting children’s education, especially orphaned and underprivileged students.
On the roof of our home, we experimented with hydroponics and vegetable gardening in pots, inspiring friends and well-wishers to adopt eco-friendly practices. On World Environment Day, this initiative was also highlighted in the local newspaper.
Today, Shristi Mitraa carries forward the same spirit through tree plantations, animal & bird rescue and treatment, education support for needy children, cleanliness drives, senior care, water and soil conservation, and awareness programs. With our Caravan journeys across India, we continue to connect with people and protect nature.

हमने सेवानिवृत्ति की सामान्य आयु से लगभग सात वर्ष पहले ही स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति (VRS) लेकर यह निश्चय किया कि जीवन का अधिक समय समाज और प्रकृति की सेवा को समर्पित करेंगे। एक वरिष्ठ पशुचिकित्साधिकारी और एक जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी के रूप में कार्य करने के बाद हमने महसूस किया कि जीवन का दूसरा पड़ाव सच्ची और सार्थक सेवा के नाम होना चाहिए।
प्रकृति-प्रेम और सार्थक यात्राओं की चाह के साथ हमने सृष्टि मित्रा ट्रस्ट की स्थापना की — वे अध्यक्षा और मैं सचिव के रूप में। शुरुआत से ही मेरा ध्यान पशुपालकों को निःशुल्क उपचार और पशु-पक्षियों की देखभाल पर रहा, वहीं उनका समर्पण बच्चों की शिक्षा में सहयोग, विशेषकर अनाथ एवं जरूरतमंद छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए रहा।
घर की छत पर हमने हाइड्रोपोनिक और गमलों में सब्ज़ी उत्पादन के छोटे-छोटे प्रयोग किए, जिनसे हमारे परिचितों और मित्रों को पर्यावरण हितैषी तरीके अपनाने की प्रेरणा मिली। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस पर इस पहल को स्थानीय समाचार-पत्र में भी स्थान मिला।
आज सृष्टि मित्रा यही भावना आगे बढ़ा रहा है — पौधारोपण, पशु-पक्षी उद्धार व उपचार, जरूरतमंद बच्चों की शिक्षा में सहयोग, स्वच्छता अभियान, वरिष्ठ नागरिक सेवा, जल-मिट्टी संरक्षण और जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से। अपनी Caravan यात्राओं के द्वारा हम देश-भर के लोगों से जुड़ते हुए प्रकृति की रक्षा का संदेश लेकर चलते हैं।
प्रकृति हमें निरंतर देती जा रही है, आइए उसका सम्मान करें और उसे स्वस्थ व सुंदर बनाए रखें।

सृष्टिमित्रा “व्यवहारिक करुणा” पर केंद्रित है — पर्यावरण, पशु-पक्षी कल्याण और मानवीय संवेदना जैसे विषयों पर समाज में जिम्मेदारी-आधारित सोच विकसित करना। हमारा विश्वास है कि स्थायी परिवर्तन सोच से शुरू होकर सहयोग से आगे बढ़ता है और व्यवहार में दिखाई देता है।
